David Sean Ifland is a Multimedia Artist and Audio Engineer with a Masters of Science in Recording Arts from the University of Colorado, Denver. Ifland is an experienced Theatre/Event Technician and has been operating shows/events since 2020 as an A1, A2, L1, L2, and V2. David is currently the Director of Audio at Sparrow Films for their Halo: Raptor Fan Series, where he oversees all audio production for the project. Ifland is also the Ensemble Coordinator & Lead Audio Designer for the Rhythm in Blue SoundSport performance ensemble where he coordinates and leads rehearsals, the technical staff, the performers, and the event managers to fulfill the needs of the full ensemble on tour. In his Master's studies, he developed B.WavZ, a new musical system that maps real-time brainwave data to control parameters in a synthesized audio environment. Ifland’s work aims to meld the human intuitions of acoustic instrumental performance and the technological elements of digital musical systems into new-age immersive experiences. David is the Founder and Artistic Director of TECH.tonl - a performance duo dedicated to exploring the potential applications of new creative technology in electroacoustic music.
